Jack Moore - Product Designer

The brief given was to create two objects that could be made from foam and turned on a lathe. They were to be the same size yet had different proportions.

I chose to design two wine glasses. After basic sketching I settled upon a design where the base was identical for both glasses however it was the top section where the proportions differed. On both designs the glass tapered outwards in a geometrically straight manner and then back in on itself. The way in which the proportions differed was where the change from outward to inner taper occurred.
