How can a shelf hold wine in an interesting way?

This shelf displays wine bottles in a way that is more visually attractive than having them standing upright at 90 degrees.
The holes for the wine bottles to sit in were drilled by tilting the table of the drill press at an angle and using a fence to ensure that all the holes were central to the shelf.
